Overview
The Gardens Private Palace is an exclusive residence nestled on a hilltop site with the mountains of Muscat as its backdrop. The design intentionally avoids front and side openings, instead turning inward toward private tropical gardens and a large central courtyard shaded and cooled by an artificial raining system for summer climate control. Maximizing privacy through rich stone screens, the architecture reinterprets traditional Omani arches in a modern form—featuring a central, jewel-like entrance arch crafted from rough turquoise marble and framed with golden matt metal, a nod to the family’s history as gem traders. Blending local style with contemporary elements, the house remains culturally grounded while opening fully to the rear with expansive glazing and terraces that capture secluded views of the natural landscape.
